Developer Challenge

The Cloudflare Developer Challenge is an event where developers are challenged to build an application using at least two of the products from the Cloudflare developer platform. We're giving away swag boxes to the top 150 submissions.

You're challenged to build any application with at least two of these four products in the Cloudflare developer platform: Cloudflare Workers, Workers KV, Durable Objects, and Cloudflare Pages.

We will judge submissions and award swag boxes to the 150 participants who submit the most innovative projects. Limit 1 per person. (See full terms and conditions.)

We also encourage you to share what you built on Cloudflare’s Discord server, and our Twitter by tagging @CloudflareDev and using the #DeveloperChallenge hashtag.

Submissions will be based on three criteria:

• Your project must satisfy the basic challenge requirements: it must incorporate at least two products of the platform and you must provide the URLs to its source code repository and a working, live demo. You must submit before June 7, 2022.
• We will judge by your project's innovation. Projects that are unique and serve useful to users will be more likely to win the swag boxes.
• We will prefer projects that use more of the Cloudflare platform. The more products you integrate, the better!

Submissions are open today and will close on June 7th, 2022.

After signing up, you will receive a confirmation email that contains a submission link. Please note that this link is your personalized link and should not be shared.

The submission form will require links to a live demo and a public repository with your source code. We also encourage you to share on our Twitter, Discord, and Built With Workers accounts.

Cloudflare’s developer platform includes:

• Cloudflare Workers is a serverless platform that allows you to deploy code instantly across the globe.
• Workers KV is a global, low-latency, key-value data store.
• Durable Objects provide low-latency coordination and consistent storage for the Workers platform.
• Cloudflare Pages is a JAMstack platform for frontend developers to collaborate and deploy websites.
• R2 is a storage solution that allows developers to store large amounts of unstructured data without costly egress bandwidth fees.

We offer a few suggestions in the Cloudflare Challenge blog post. We also maintain a number of tutorials and examples. Additionally, you may browse through our Built With Workers collection to see what other community members have created!

Our team will review submissions and select winners between May 24th, 2022 and June 7th, 2022.

We will send you an email to congratulate you on your award! We will also forward a link to the vendor site so you can select the proper sizing, etc.

Winners will be contacted by July 8th, 2022 or sooner.

Delivery times will vary based on location. The box may take several weeks to arrive.
